After a great deal of contemplation (about 10 years!), I have accepted that I need to significantly increase my rates to maintain this business model in a sustainable way. Each session includes treatment as well as an in-depth summary email to support, inspire and empower clients to continue their healing journey between sessions and well beyond my care.

Important Fee Information
Destination Wellness operates as a fee-for-service business. Payment is required in the form of e-transfer or cash upon completion of each session. While many physiotherapy models are based on seeing clients frequently for several weeks at a time, I prefer to have longer session lengths and space them out by 4-6 weeks or even months at a time. I include a comprehensive summary of recommendations and strategies so that clients are empowered to take control of their healing between sessions and can refer back to the information as much as they need to. It is not unusual to achieve our goals within 2 or 3 sessions but some clients may require or wish to have further support. I believe that the fees are well worth the investment for the care and information you will receive. I also understand that budgeting for this investment can be a real challenge and may take time. If for financial reasons you need to seek care with another provider, I would strongly encourage you to look into the work of Tami Lynn Kent. Her body of work has become an essential component of my practice and is unfortunately largely missing in the mainstream approach.
A detailed receipt will be provided and it is your responsibility to determine if and how you qualify for reimbursement through third party insurance. Please be advised that the depth and duration of care that I provide is not standard within the industry. It is very likely that even if you are lucky enough to have third party insurance coverage, they will only cover a portion of the appointment. What they deem reasonable and customary is aligned with shorter appointment times at a higher frequency and I refuse to try to fit into a structure that I do not feel promotes long term healing.
Destination Wellness is NOT funded through OHIP, WSIB or MVA and will not directly bill your third party insurance company.
